Allagash Tails author, Tim Caverly will be appearing at community events, schools, libraries and events throughout New England. Program 1) Allagash-New England’s Wild River: Narrated by author and humorist Tim Caverly; the show includes music as well as scenic and historic photos from our ‘northern forest.’ Spectators will canoe the world-famous river, discover forgotten logging history and learn about Native American archaeology. Hear first-hand about the lore, legends, and characters that Tim experienced during his 32-years while a Maine Park Ranger.
Program 2) An Allagash Haunting-A Radio Classic : A damping cloak of darkness approaches and brings a new meaning to the old saying “in the eye of the storm…Canoe with Olivia as she canoes in the worst storm ever… Through ‘an over the air’ broadcast Listeners will hear snapping campfires, ghostly music and the call of a loon while over 120 scenic and historic pictures display on screen.
Program 3) Crossed Paths-A wilderness romance. As children, growing up in Baxter State Park, Tim and Susan King Caverlys paths crossed while they hiked around and over mile high Mt. Katahdin. However, the two never met until one fall day at college. Join in on their predestined journey to begin a life together in the Maine woods.
Program 4) “So You Think You Know Maine!.” DISCOVER the birth place of Disney’s Bambi, northern forest ice caves, abandoned railroads, petrographs, and TALES which can only be described as CLASSIC MAINE.
